I’m ab it worried i my leopard gecko is 6 weeks old and well Ive had him for 2 days and since hes all I’m focusing on. well anyway i got him from a reptile store with a high reputation for caring after there animals and all there livestock are captivity bred... so my little gecko wont like eat Ive tried getting to hunt around evening but just goes under his log again. I’m worried he wont eat as hes not been hungry for about the 2 days Ive had him... is this normal for his young age i mean i dint want dinner to become dinner.? Shocked Shocked

It's pretty common for a gecko to go without food for a few days after they have been moved. I guess they just take a little while to adjust to their new surroundings. Your little fella should start to eat soon. Smile

I wouldnt worry for at least 5-7 days.
When i get any young leo's i dont even bother to feed them for 3-4 days and totally leave them alone to let them settle in. (which means NO peeking just to see if its alright Sad )
Basically, just ignore it for the first few weeks until it has settled in and is feeding well.

about the unwashed carrot don't worry my meal worms are still alive after i gut loaded them so i assume that carrot i didn't wash was clean of pesticides.even so I'm not going to risk that again!
