|
|
Some of the CF ball pythons I picked up on the 5th May (hatched April 06) have now moved on to small rat weaners (fully furred with eyes open).
there is about 10 on these rats now, the others are talking std mice. So in 28 days since there VERY FIRST feed, they have gone from eating small fluffy mice to these rats. I'll try and post up some feeding & growth records soon.
Here's a few pics _________________

Thanks guys,
Got to admit I am suprised by their growth. The babies naturally hatch just when the rains start in Africa so that would mean plenty of rodent prey to feed on, I would imagine that growth in the wild is pretty good too at this time of year and they would eat everything they can find, ready for harder times in the dry season.
I would be interested in any wild growth rates if anyone has any links? _________________
