As far as I'm aware, 4 weeks is far too short a period of gestation, are you sure you missed them mating before and the male was just trying again? It can vary depending on temperature and the amount of food. |

I've checked with a guy from aus, and he says that it can vary from 2 weeks - 2 months. |

it can vary a hell of a lot more than that to be honest but average gestation seems to be aroun 4-8 weeks My female this year laid one clutch then 60 days later laid another and 60 days later another like clockwork and the eggs incubated at 31 took 96 days to hatch for the first lot I shall let you know about the 2nd lot if they hatch they are due from the 1st october onwards |
