i have noticed that my cham has blisters on his back, along the spikey bits, not sure if he has burnt himself on the uv light or what, has nayone else had this?
he is fine but it looks horrible.

Not seen that before, how odd.

I know a strip light gives of some heat but would it be enough to cause blistering? Does sound logical though. I hope he is OK.

i guess its a bit like a sunbed you can still get sunburn, what do you think?
looks really horrid, i dont know if to put some iodine on it.

i dont keep chams, but could it not be caused by to high humidity or lack of ventilation, i say this becouse i have heard of snakes getting blisters due to damp substrate, ive also heard of nematode larvae burrowing into the skin and causing blisters on the surface, linda id take him to the vets . he will proberly need antibiotics what ever the cause is, id also say treat with povodine/ iodine but until you know what the cause is this might do more harm than good, hope its nothing to serious linda best of luck

well he has loads of ventalition, his viv is mesh, not too humid either so cnat be that.

Sometimes my chams shed pattern changes and they start shedding from diff parts of their body, do you think this may be it?
