Sorry to hear about your Varanus glauerti eggs, Scott. It definately is heartbreaking and frustrating to make it so far and then fail. I suppose on a more positive note, failures such as these make you even more committed and dedicated to succeeding. Why else would I have ever stuck with my tree monitors, after all of these repeated failures with dead-in-the-egg hatchlings?? I'm still committed!

Stick with it Scott, and keep your head up, you will succeed eventually!

Best of luck to you with subsequent clutches,

Bob

lo
bad luck there.
i have had this happen with tristis and ackies after successfully hatching earlier clutches.
i used the same temps humidity etc but no more hatchlings but full term deads
so i tried dryer and the eggs dried up
tried damper and they just went full term split the eggs then never hatched.
not had no more eggs recently so not tried since.
may i ask how you incubate?
