Hey guys, just wanted to post up a picture of my female Mex. Black King. I got her from a breeder when she was just a few weeks old. She is now almost 7 months old. She is about 30 inches and finally starting to gain girth along with length. She is a tad bit shy still. She isn't aggressive at all if one goes slow and steady, but she would certainly tag if given the chance and reason. I won't lie about that! At the moment, a friend of mine took her from me to house because I thought she was too nice to just keep on a rack system with all my other herps in the herp room. He loves her. He may be moving though and she may come back to my house in a few months if he does move and can't take her. He loves her though, so he may end up buying her and taking her with.
I love the looks. Wish they all had the royals' temperaments! ha ha

Hey Rick,
Here's another picture that is a bit more clear, and close up. She doesn't have any green at all. She is jet black, smooth as silk and shines like no other. I have to say, the breeder did me right with her.

Mex, blacks have this amazing irridescence, only comparable to an indigo or a white lip in sheen!
stunning snakes, hardy as hell normally too, my mate lost one from his herp shed somehow, 19 months later we were moving his animals to his new house and we lifted the old wooden shed off its base and there he was 19 months later, nigh on 2ft longer and weighing double what he did when he left!!
that was 2 winters in total as was lost October 02 and was found May 04!!! _________________ 1.0 striped supersalmon DEAD
