when I feed defrost, I let them thaw at room temp, then boost the heat by placing on a heat pad for 20 mins, although I'm sure the hair dryer would work just as well. _________________

Royals can be a pain. I have decided its official. My male was eating both rats and mice no problem. then all of a sudden it turns its nose up at rats and will only eat mice!! I have just bought a load of rats for him which are a bit small for my female. Anyhow should be thankful they are still both eating like there is no tomorrow. Will have to keep tempting him with rats and if he keeps refusing will end up with a big fat female(Please check out my sexing royals topic to give me advice)
love em to bits but boy are they annoying. |
