Had a feeling one of my females was up to something in the nest box so I had a look last night and found a small clutch of 3 eggs, 1 twice the size of the other two. All three looked quite good. Fingers crossed. _________________

To be honest Paul, I haven't put a lot of time into them yet. I have had 3 small clutches so far from 3 different females. The fact the clutches are small reflects the less time and food resources I have been offering them.
Hopefully with the new room layout I will have plenty more time to work with them and improve the clutch sizes.
The first eggs are still looking good in the incubator, althoughone was 'leaking' last week but has stopped now. I am not too sure how many days them have been incubating either , it's on the forum somewhere...lol
It looks like a female ackie will be laying in the next day or so too, but no signs on the Red ackies. _________________

I had a look on the forum the other day for where you posted up about your first clutch, as when there ready i would be interested in some, as they are totally unrelated to mine, Canadian arent they? |

The first lot aren't Canadian, so they are related to yours but from a different breeder. I will check to see if this recent clutch is from the canadian female. _________________

lo
i thought all glauerti were related somewhere in their line as there was only a pair or 2 as founders for the entire captive population here and usa etc. |

That may well be the case Kev, but buying from two different continents is probably the best way of 'mixing' up what ever gene pool there is.
I doubt if anyone with 'new' blood would admit to where it came from, so we will never know for sure how many real bloodlines there are.
Shame, fantastic lizards. _________________
