I noticed, with the exception of one post, that all the topics are on Cresteds in this section. I just thought I'd post a couple of photos of my Gargoyles (r. auriculatus):
Sky one of my females
Star another of my females
Nimbus - after a series of failures my first home bred Gargoyle
And finally for now, Snowflake one of my males

Yep - I have a male and a female striped but they were camera shy during that photo session...lol. I will try and get some photos of them. _________________ Best wishes, Jackie

I have also been asking people that question lately, and every single person i asked said that Cresties were better. |

to be honest Sonny, they are both as easy to keep. I would say that one difference I have found is that gargoyles tend to be out during the day a little longer and are less likely to jump off your hand when you are holding them.
I would be happy to recommend either as a starter lizard (so long as they were set up correctly). |
