Can anyone please detail the pros and cons of using the following to provide a heat source for chameleons? thank you.


Standard basking Spot lamps

Infrared heat lamps


Somewhere in the back of my mind I seem to remember hearing that the infrared heat lamps can cause damage the chams eyes? But I may just have a poor memory and be confused. Thank you.
