Hi
Coincidentally i have had a clutch of GTP's hatch last week. My female laid 18 eggs, two died full term and one died hatching all the rest look really good!
What did yours weigh on hatching, mine are between 8 and 12 grams.
Don't know about you but i was ecstatic when mine hatched! I was really hoping that the female would incubate them but instead of laying them in her nest box, she laid them on top?! Obviously something she didn't like?
Needless to say i had to artificially incubate them, very pleased with the result though!
I told myself that if any deformed babies hatched, although it would have been very hard i was going to euthanize them. |
