we tend not to courier if we can help it - we do however deliver (for fuel cost) to a fairly wide area and we will be at most of the shows this year - so no excuse not to buy one (or several) lol!!! |

we thought that but the parents are a Bell female and male (non-het) enigma so Enigma het Bell.
Did raise the question about whether it is a 'throw back' given that the enigma's originated from the Bell line ... any theories??? |

We are working with TUG snows (no super form), a JMG line and a fairly white group of Macks as well as combinations of the above - time will tell how it all turns out ... |

My guess would be that the male enigma is actually het. Bell. Do you have any evidence other than the fact he was sold to you as a non-het that he isn't het for Bell?
Out of interest, how many hatchlings have you had from him when pairing him with Bell females?

Hi, the male is directly from Kelli at HISS who is sure he wasn't het bell so I'll have to take her word for now - although we are a little suspicious.
He was paired with only one Bell this year (but 4 others!!): 12 eggs, 7 hatched and one slug so far. Only two normal het Bells out of that lot so not too bad. This is the only one that exhibits red eye. It is also considerably lighter than the others which all have a yellow base colour - odd since the male is quite white!!
