Hey Folks, as nice as my little Digimax UCA-5 Camera is it only takes like 2 good photos out of 10 lol

so... with a budget of say £200, what would the best digital camera be to buy for reptile photography?
you see I'm not a big camera buff so i need pointed in the right direction lol

You could get a nice compact for that money..fuji,canon etc do some real nice ones. You may find you still only get 2 out of 10 shots though.. Laughing

lol... so, my budget is a little hopeful then?

i ain't looked properly myself but it seems all the "good" ones are like £399 according to the miracle that is Argos, which would mean that I'm going to have to save up - a lot, this reptile keeping business is expensive... Laughing

I use a Nikon D50 for most of my reptile pictures. It is my dads, but it is really good and seems to take good pictures, even if you are just a point and press person like me

lol, cool i think I'm going to save for one of them D40's and get what is it? a macro lens? who knows, I'm using "alien" words here haha

yeh macro lense is the name of the one for taking close up pictures of small things. some cameras have a macro setting, i dunno if my dads does, i just use it

lol, mine has a "close up" feauture, but its often blurry because i have shaky hands
