hi there
I have a six month old sambava panther (i bought him two weeks ago) who seems to like eating the bark on the back wall of his viv rather more than he should ! He seems to be eating & drinking ok (i use a dripper twice a day and spray viv three times a day) and the bark seems to pass through him no problem but i was concerned that i am missing the reason and possible problem as to why he is doing this. As i write this he has just stated to shed his skin could this have anything to do with his behavour?
Anyone got any ideas ?
thanks phil |

Panther chameleons are known to gnaw on bark. I don't know if one would ingest a piece that was too big to pass through its system or not...but it would worry me. |
