The sun showed itself today so it was decided to go and check over a disused railway site that had been brought to our attention. It was patchy sun and cloud but plenty of common lizards were out. It looks like it could be a site for adders and grass snake also. We shall return earlier in the morning on the right kind of day and see what we can turn up.
In the meantime, Brett managed a few snaps of a few common lizards. _________________ YSBRYDOLI POBL, GWELLA LLEOEDD

Also an immature slow worm. Definately a site worth looking at again. There is a very overgrown pond there too. Looked like too many sticklebacks resident for GCNs to be breeding there though it is very close to a known site.
I would expect that we`ll see grass snakes there in the future though. _________________ YSBRYDOLI POBL, GWELLA LLEOEDD
