I always thought eggs collapsed? I have my first hatchling already poking it's head out and none of the eggs have collapsed. It's day 55, and thats normal for when i incubate and them hatching...

Any thoughts why they never collapsed? I did use a smaller container and this is my new wardrobe incubation Laughing

maybe the moisture content was slightly high in the box and the eggs absorbed a bit too much water?ive had clutches that havnt dimpled too much myself though

cheers jamie for the reply. it's puzzled me a bit.

I've aired them every day for two weeks, knowing they'd probably need it.

I can only think there's a lot of moisture in there..... possibly with the smaller container? there was only 5 eggs, so didn;t think there would be a problem. Have all your's hatched regardless of dimpling or not?
