Thanks everyone, I'm dead chuffed, lol.
Lynne I did not plant particular plants to encourage these, we found them under some damp straw and hay behind our rabbit hutch, this area is always covered by heavy bubble wrap which we use to insulate the hutch in cold weather and protect from rain sometimes. I imagine this provided the ideal habitat for slugs which is their diet and I'm guessing that is what may have attracted them. it is so hard not taking a peek to see if they are still there, I will not let Pete cut the grass unless I can see all three

Great shots as always Angi
I agree about letting areas of the garden go, were told that we tidy our gardens too much these days (well not ours lol).
Even my Mums created a nature area in her garden, a meadow, piles of logs, stones, leaves etc etc _________________ www.ratsnakefoundation.org |
