A royal that eats like that is worth its weight in gold! I wouldnt be trying to get a strike out of it, if it feeds like that your onto a winner Laughing

Kieran- You could try putting a wanted ad in the classifieds section for a royal. We try to keep buying and selling off the forum. Wink

hey all - why is it worth its weight in gold if i doesnt strike feed??? to be honest im just happy that she eats well.. i means she is fit and healthy and happy. Yeah serpentus are brilliant as i say she was one of the owners snakes and because they didnt have any others for sale and we had tried everywhere else she was amazing and sold me one of her own, which was very hard for her. the man who owns the shop used to be the curator at butterfly world in edinburgh and looked after the wellfare of all the reptiles, so he is very helpful and knowledgable. As a result with working with these animals he refuses to sell anything other than captive bread, a personal decision i am sure but one that benifits the reptile world none the less. I will put a wanted ad up, im sorry if that wasnt allowed but again thanks for all the advice. It is a shame that there doesnt seem to be as many good shops here in scotland.. or maybe i just dont know of them. thanks again Kieran Very Happy

i think dradam means any royal that eats, strike or not, is worth its weight in gold, some really can be pains when it comes to eating. and it was me that went off topic keiren not you, you were asking about strike feeding, not about where you can get a male royal. ryan hasnt sexed the ones he just got in as he wants to see them feeding before stressing them even more.

ok let me put it like this..... you can defrost a rat, warm it up, spend 20 mins waggling it all for the snake to loose interest and decide that escaping is a better idea OR you can leave a rat in the hide and next morning its gone Smile
I know which I'd rather have Laughing

hey lynne, ill be going in next week to pic a few things up and just have a look around again at the wonderful shop. i shall be getting another corn aswell to go with the one i have at the moment, i wondered where you stood on morphs. In particalar designer morphs, i think they are beautiful but i see some people think its wrong. is it worth investing in a morph just because you think its beautiful. In the future i do wish to breed but i want to take my time and keep learning. At the moment im just amazed still by the beauty of the animals
