As stated in the question Very Happy

I just wanted to know when your female F.lateralis majors get receptive colours...e.g. yellowish green with the bright red/pink flanks?

My girly flared up beautifully a while ago, but now she has dropped to a different colour (still beautiful...she has lavender coloured scale along her flanks now). I'm hoping to breed her soon, but need to pick the right time to do it? If I introduce a male will she necessarily be receptive?

Thanks y'all

One of mine is constantly showing receptive colours, she is 2 years old now i think and has laid one clutch of infertile eggs.

Thanks Karen...no eggs from mine yet. Was that recently she laid? I'm going to get a bigger sandbox for Alberta. I've been trying not to overfeed her (worried about eggbinding) but she does look podgy.

One of my females laid millions I swear. It took her just over a week to lay properly and I thought I was loosing her. All my females are very receptive. Lovely green, black, yellow colour from morning until night. There's never a dull moment looking into the carpet's viv at all.

Good luck with you, Mcfluffin. Laughing
