Quick question for anyone with the "terry thatcher" style vivs..
How do you go about setting them up for chameleons to climb around in and have suitable basking spots?
With the all wood vivs obviously you can attach branches with screws etc... with the mesh I am wondering how to set these up properly?
not got mine yet but should have it right at start of may as mine are growing to fast to stay in their exo terra.
Was going to transfer a cheeseplant and pick up an umbrella plant, weeping fig and get it all set up with those, but want to have it so they can roam around to all different parts.
Ideas appreciated! |

metal wire?
Wedging stuff would be fine, though my two are tearing the viv apart now they have got so strong, branches get thrown around at feeding time!
going to look for some nice big branches over the next few weeks that can be cleaned up ok, but most likely going to have to stick with something more sterile. |

Yes fine metal wire, i drill holes in the branches and twist it through, fastening it on the outside Job done _________________

I find the little bendy wire you get as cable ties/on nice fresh bread from the bakers is great for fastening things to other things _________________

I have been using gardening string for attaching most stuff for mine at the moment, but it seems to be about as strong as I should have expected for 30p a roll |

Hahaha...they can be strong little buggers can't they. My panther Ozzy loves to pull the dripper pipe about all over, no matter what I attach that with! _________________
