A few I took yesterday, some dying and some more alive. Ive gone for plenty of depth in these ones.
Now I know there isnt a great deal of detail in this one but I really like it.
And a couple more vibrant/alive ones

They're supposed to I was going for a different style, rather than my usual low apertures. I might shoot the same flowers with low apertures to see how they look for contrast _________________ Cheers Angi

Your aperture will only affect how much depth of field you have..it has nothing to do with wether its sharp or soft You could shoot a flower at f.1.4 or f40 but your focus point should be sharp its the surrounding area that it affects. _________________

Thanks Stuart, you are quite right. I'm on a mission now, lol and have been out the back again trying to improve my focus, but get a nice depth of field. If there are any reasonable ones I will post them - without frames _________________ Cheers Angi

Hows this Stuart? Im still aiming for a softer look, but have really concentrated on getting the focus correct. F5.6.
