Tropical night lizards,any one else keeping these ?have had my 2 for a few months and they have quickly become one of my favourites !
very strange looking as they have no eyelids,and a real powerfull bite,they lock onto your finger and go into a "death roll"

they are from Panama,very interesting species they are live bearers and are belived to be parthonagenic,i think i spelt that right (they can reproduce with out a male ) good job as mine are both females ! |

Parthenogenic, nearlly there...I'll have to read up on them. Had a friend hatch some Mourning's geckos recently which are also parthenogenic, very odd, just chuck a group in there and wait for eggs!! _________________ Regards James Stroud |

yes but none have been found in the panama race,a few have been found in north eastern Costa Rica. |
