You know I look like Old Gregg Scott! I gotta mangina!
The ghost is really orange...........for a green ghost!! In fact its more orange than my old orange ghost!! It will make KILLER POG's when crossed into that pastel blusher!
Thanks for all the comments people. |

aren't the green and orange ghosts compatible? if so how would a breeder identify a green or orange ghost from a clutch if an orange and green ghost were breed together? hope that makes sense |

They are supposed to be compatible. My animal is out of a line of green ghosts. Its as orange as it gets. There is no green on the thing at all but it does not have the blushing of an orange ghost or the faded out black markings. The black on this line of ghost is pretty defined, which is fine by me!!. Its siblings were dull though and looked like green ghosts should look. Orange and green ghosts as a rule are pretty easy to tell the difference between. I think what happens when you breed an orange into a yellow or green is that you get a mix of the two strains showing on the visual animal. Im hoping to breed the pastel male and the mojave male in the pic above to her and then breed son back to mom. Hopefully this will give me ghosts but with good contrast.................we'll see! |
