A couple of days ago I emailed Mark Mandic and he very kindly replied this evening. I'd asked him to confirm the steps from mating to egg laying in Royals. This is his reply :-

1. She will shed
2. She will stop feeding
3. She will glow
4. She will build
5. She will ovulate
6. She will shed
7. 27 - 30 days later she will lay

hmmm....similar to women, only it's 9 months until the lay and they don't stop feeding.....ouch!

Oh believe me, whilst carrying my son my food intake was small. No point eating only to urrrrch it up a few minutes later... Rolling Eyes Carrying my girl was a doddle though... Laughing
