These were my partners idea... I was adamant they were vile, gross jobby snakes but when I saw they I sort of melted. They have adoreable wee faces and are quite cute, but in all honesty they do look like jobbies.
They were supposed to be a LTC 100% sexed pair, but you can see spurs a mile away on each specimen, and just to check we probed both and surprise surprise both were male. The seller was decent enough to offer 50% of the cost back and the larger male is probably going so no harm done eh.
Affectionally named, Big Beaver as he is the largest male.
And Wee moose (as in the one with antlers)
Interesting wee snakes for sure. They were classed as pythons for a long time but these are now officially boas. However they do lay eggs. Strange wee snakes, but both are great eaters and putting on the weight well. |

Over 20... Which is getting to the "time to stop" point. I only have plans for one more new addition this year after I buy some stacks of either herpteks or penines. I
Plus I'll have hatchlings this year which will of course mean holdbacks LOL
I can't believe you like these over the halmahera boas LOL |

Well yes they do. I like racks but I also like to see my snakes so I have made sure I have enough room for all my snakes to have at least a 3ft viv when they "outgrow" their 64ltrs. I keep a lot of corns and a black milk so thats them spoken for. Some of the boas live in a 3x2 display rack and some of the wee weird species have to stay in boxes all their lifes ie the sunbeams.
The day my snakes become a chore is the day I get out of the hobby. I love the work involved |
