Hi
Well I paired up my maroansetras for the first time today. They are both approaching 1 year old and within ten minutes of introducing the female they were copulating.
Copulation lasted for about 20-30 minutes and they are now both at rest in the viv. The female hasn't taken on dark non-receptive colours so I guess I just leave them together in the viv overnight and for the next few days, or should I separate them and reintroduce tomorrow?
Any advice on how best to proceed now is much appreciated.
thanks

As well behaved as any bloke that does the business with a bird ten minutes after meeting her! |

Mine was hilarious, was displaying quite happily with the female responding, then she went onto the mesh at the top so he grabbed her and 'persuaded' her to come down. Nothing aggressive, just persistent
Hope you get eggs _________________ A lil bit of Madagascar
