Are these mostly terrestrial or arboreal geckos? What size and what orientation (vertical or horizontal) the terrarium should have for them?
Do they have digital lamellae and are glass climbers?

Not kept any Pachydactylus but i know Bibrons can climb glass, Oedura's can so would appreciate climbing space but they also like to hide under bark strips on the ground also. Some of the Diplodactylus like Tesselatus have digital lamellae but cant climb glass, but they still like to climb amongst twigs, so i would say more horizontal for Diplo's.

a lot of Pachydactylus are more suited to the more virtical vivx, Oedura like an inbetween so width and height (i had O. castelnaui in a 2ft wide 18inch deep 18inch high viv which was plenty, they spond most of the time on the floor) same with O. monilis, i have even kept these in really usefull boxes with great success.
Diplos like mentioned love climbing but cannot climb virtical surfaces unless there very grippy so hight is not needed so much. these can also be kept in tubs
