I hear ya on that one Pete, I've also tried threatening physical violence, that doesn't seem to work either, you have to hit them where it hurts, take their mobiles away and kill MSN on the Router _________________ www.draco2.co.uk

Maybe she's just pacing herself James or she want's them much hotter maybe? Mine seem to like the heads of the rats so that they practically get 3rd degree burns from them _________________ www.draco2.co.uk

yeah iam going to try her again maybe 2morrow or sunday. iam Gina try putting a mouse and a rat in a tub and let them defrost together and then heat them both up so there nice and smelly. then rub the mouse all over the rat and then see if shes more interested. i will make sure i heat it up more then usual as well now you've said that. |

Paul they only finished it about 1/2 and hour ago, give me chance!!
James, the most important bit to heat I've found is the top of the skull, get it hotter than you think it needs to be, as they will key in on that part if they are strike feeders, and then by the time they have finished crushing it to death and actually get around to eating it it's cooled down a bit. Be careful how hot you get the body, you don't want exploding rat or mouse, it's not nice _________________ www.draco2.co.uk

Ive gotta say thanks to Claire, your advise about heading the heads up so much that you think their going to get 3rd degree burns really helped. i offered her a rat and see seemed kinda interested but she didn't do anything to it apart from look at it for half hr. i took it back out and really heated it up especially the head i thought it was to hot but as soon as i put it in the Viv she pounded it so must of been what shes wanted all along |

I should have rack piccies up tomorrow hopefully, I've been ill so a little delay
James, glad it worked for you, I was really shocked the first time I tried it, and they went NUTS, it seems to be the hotter the heads are the more they like em God knows how they manage in the wild, do they go around looking for rodents with a fever _________________ www.draco2.co.uk
