Hi all. My young royal shed on Friday but in patches. I put some damp moss in the tub its in but obviously it still wasn't humid enough.I bathed it in warm water and it came off except the skin on its head. How do i go about helping it get this off?? Should i try soaking it again??I really don't want to stress it out but i know this needs to be removed. Any help is greatly appreciated. Many thanks. Paul

It doesn't look like its eye caps have come off. Ill try that and see if it comes off. Its the first shed with me but Ive never had shedding problems with my corn so I'm a bit worried here as Ive heard retained eye caps are bad. I Hope it all comes off.

if you just keep dampening the towel it should come off. next time just give him a bit more humidity and it will be fine.

try a pair of gloves. do same as towel and dampen them. but you may find by morning he has got it off by himself.

just put on a pair of gloves, or the towel, and wet them and let him slide through. if you let him rub on gloves he will probably take it of himself. my g-stripe had a bad shed last time, but i got it off this way. and his eye caps were off, as long as they are of i dont worry too much.
