i change mine every other day.
But if it has feices or anything in it i change it.
AS for cleaning the bowls i just give them a quick scrub with a scouring pad evertime but say eevry week give em a good wash.
But of course i would never leave water in there that has been made dirty Rolling Eyes Wink
