Picked up 1.2.4 Dipsosaurus dorsalis last month. The male is from the first European breeding and is now 10 years old, the 2 females are about 5 years and WC and the 4 youngsters (I guess 2.2, seeing their behavior) are about 2 years old and also WC.
I'm hoping to be able to breed these fascinating iguana's. The male and 1 female have been in hibernation, so with a little luck first breeding will happen one of these days.
I'm very exited with these animals!
Here are a few pics and a video of the juveniles. Better pics will come when I get my camera back.

It's real hard to find them these days. My male is of the first European breeding and is 10 years old now. The other 6 animals were part of a group of 28 Dipso's that were import last year by some enthusiasts.
I haven't seen them in shops, and the ones you find sometimes in in on line classifieds are in really bad shape or sold a few hours after the add is placed.
I was very lucky to get these animals. |
