unless you're looking for new blood lines ...could be seen that way ....my worry would be they do it there an get away with it .... they try it here .

it will possibly just be driven underground if they do go ahead with it. usa is such a vast country i cant see it working, the export side maybe but not in country.

could be .... would not be the first time ( prohibition ) seems to me to be a knee jerk reaction to the problem with captive release in the Everglades....pity that a whole country ends up paying for the stupidity of the few .

I feel for all the other ppl indirectly involved in the industry ( god ah hate using that term ) ...i.e all ppl concerned in supply of equipment , lotta jobs could go long term

You might think it can't happen in Europe but all boas and pythons are banned in Portugal. It doesn't matter if you want to keep a retic or a sand boa !

I think it likely that retics, burmese, anacondas will be banned or licensed in the future, in the UK.
