Hey all!
Had my leo (bred 04 I think, unsure of sex) for about a month now and everything has been fine so far, yet it seems to have become a bit of a recluse this week and has also started digging too. Usually it is out and about quite a lot and doesn't really hide away out of sight at any time of the day. It's still eating well and will happily chase crickets when they're spotted. Temperature is fine (80f coldside, 88f hotside), has plenty of fresh water (changed daily) and a dish of calcium. Shed maybe 2 weeks ago and doesn't look like it's due to shed again yet. Is my gex just being a bit moody or is this maybe something I should be even more worried about? |

Hi,
If he's still doing all the normal things ie. feeding and defecating then I wouldn't worry too much. Perhaps get him out, give him a good look over (check for hard lumps in stomach or anything strange around vent and mouth). If nothings a miss I wouldn't worry. _________________

Cheers Scott!
Yeah it's still eating like a good 'un and leaving me with the mess to clean up! Nothing looks abnormal about him, just a little strange that he went from out and proud to sulking and digging in the corner. Like you say I'm probably worrying about nothing, but thought it best to ask just so I could catch early signs if there is/was something to worry about! |

try putting a humid hide box in there, just in case he is a she and is looking for a nesting site. _________________

This has crossed my mind and I'll be sorting it out when I get home from work. Thanks again for the advice. |
