I just put a pair of Royals together and after an initial sizing up they are both doing this weird tail wagging thing. I hope its not a bad sign of combat or something.

Well no as I dont think it would show up on a still picture. The ends of their tails ( after the vents ) are swishing about in the substrate every now and then.

Have you really? Its quite alarming to watch. They are wagging their tails like mad when they get nose to nose.
So it isnt a sign of 2 males getting annoyed then?

i know when petes female and my stripe got together they never moved!!!!
