You tried waxworms or Phoenix worms? Always good to get a reluctant feeder going |

Silk worms might be a good option but they aren't cheap even when you can find them. I have to agree though a single pinking with it's bum dipped into calcium would be the best option if you can get Mex to eat it. I've been feeding my Gravid Fat Tail a pinkie once a week in between clutches and she gobbles them down, give her a fat boost and a calcium boost to boot. I know feeding dead baby mice isn't an ideal solution, but it would be worth a try to get some weight on.
I also have a female Fat Tail who has lost loads of weight, and we have discovered that she will ONLY eat black Crickets, give her browns and she refuses, but a few blacks in with her and she gobbles them down excitedly, so that might be worth a go if you haven't tried it. Not sure if it's what she was used to before I got her, or if they are just easier to see, but her little tail goes up and waggles and then she pounces on them, it's very funny to watch.
Sorry about Hotdog as well Jo _________________ www.draco2.co.uk
