I'm sorry just doesn't seem sufficient.

I know what its like, I came close to losing my crestie a couple of months ago, also to MBD. Luckily he pulled through.....

oh dear, R.I.P Little H.Dog Sad

p.s. don't feel silly crying, I cried when I thought I would Lose Nyul.

((((hug))))

Thankyou everyone for your kind words..

I have just been on the phone to the vet, well.. the receptionist at the vets.. and got the results of the autopsy.

Apparently Hotdog had Enteritis (a gut infection) that had travelled around her system and she just wasn't able to cope with it.. Crying or Very sad

I didn't probe for any more answers and I know that if's and but's won't help now, but I assume if I had gotten to it sooner that the antibiotics would have helped fix the problem...

Sorry Hotdog.. Sad

If it helps at all, it doesn't need to come from food or water etc, if its passed the same as in mammals its a virus and can just turn up out of the blue xxxxxxxxxxxx

I wouldn't be too concerned hon, if they were going to they would all have got it together. If they haven't shown signs by now they are unlikely to. xxxxxxxxxx

Maybe it Will be a good idea to ask or research what might of caused it. I, for one have never heard of it and would know the first thing about what the signs are....
I know it won't be very nice but at least you might give someone else a chance to catch it really early..It always helps when you know what to look for, don't beat yourself up about it (or try not to).
