I'm getting a leopard gecko in the next few weeks, do i need a thermostat or can i just use a heat mat?

What should i feed him/her when i first get it ?

you should always look to use a stat Wink i feed my entire coolection mealies these days but either crickets or mealworms will do.remeber to get your vits and mineral supplement's as well Wink jas has just started doing a special supplement which looks really good Wink

Ads, easy way to remember, mats give heat, stat controls heat, so as Jamie said you do need both hon xxx

OT You buying or breeding your mealies Jamie? I managed to get some going that don't smell and breed like manics. I also have another food source that seems to go down a treat with babies and make em nice and fat. If your nice to me I'll tell ya what it is Laughing Laughing Laughing xxxxxxxx
