GTP green tree python Morelia viridis
Carpondro cross between jungle carpet and GTP
Leader = Scott
.
If you have enough females some of the locales They can be told apart.
My Ankaramy female crest is totally different as is the males to other locales.
Picasso is a variable locale at the best of times,some times drab when fired up,other times with a orange belly.but then it is more or less in the middle of most of the locales.
They are all pretty close on Madagascar in relation to trapping sites and crosses do occur.
This is evident as the eastern northerly range are mostly blue and as you turn the top and come down the eastern side the greens creep in and the further south you go the more red they become. You don't know if the female you receive is locale specific,you must rely on the integrity of the shipper.
Until the females are about 5 months old they impossible to distinguish.
Breed yours out and you should produce some stunners.

Thanks for that. I do plan to bred them over the next 15 months. Just trying to stagger various breeding programmes due to time and space. Plus not wanting to get confused! Laughing

cheers Rick
