I gave some zolcal-d for a week and her swollen back legs seems to be looking better but now she's really lethargic and isn't eating.. Everything I hand feed her she regurges including the zolcal she kept it down for the first few days but now I'm really worried about her.
I have booked her into the vets for tomorrow..
Could the zolcal have had an adverse effect? _________________

Thanks all, I just got back from the vets, she's said that the zolcal treatment seems to have stopped the calcium crash but it's what has caused it that is the worry now. With her regurging everything she said it may be a blockage. So she's been injected with antibiotics and I'm to continue to try feeding her babyfood and codliver oil to try n shift whatever it is, if she perks up over the weekend I can get a 2nd dose of biotics on tuesday but if things deteriorate more n things get desperate then I can try surgeory on monday, but that really is a last resort.
Fingers crossed she will perk up over the weekend, bless her.. she looks so feeble... _________________

Ohhhhhhh poor little thing. We'll all keep our fingers crossed that the cod liver oil and baby food works out and that she starts to recover. _________________ www.draco2.co.uk
