Ok had a thought ( it hurt ) if snakes do not have external hearing system , ( there is debate about internal organ at the moment ) , how the heck do Cobra's ''dance'' to charmers pipes' Question Question Question

Unfortunately, most of those snakes are wild caught, then either have their moths sewing shut or there fangs snapped of with pliers, so they are pretty stressed animals, who are not fed very weak and very defensive with no real weaponry left.

Its a disgraceful act.

Google it, have a look what wikipedia has to say about it,
Its rather disturbing to know the Truth,

Though I don't think any one in there right mind would rely on kissing cobras and swallowing Russel's vipers with out some precaution put in place,
Its reckoned a snake charmer will dispose of around six snakes a year to fatality due to appalling care of the animal. Mad

no i didnt doubt what you said was true......i doubted god was good!!! sorry, it did read like i doubted your word, unfortunately with some of the things us humans get up to, what you say is probably right.

Having spent many a herping trip in Goa it is good to see that the Goan authorities have banned snakes charmers outright!!!

If they catch them they take all their money and beat them up!!!

Good show!!!!

Much better to see cruel charmers getting a hiding than the poor snakes!!!!

personally i would get the guys who did this, snap thier teeth off, stitch gobs shut, and hang them from a pole for the vultures to eat.
