I have decided to buy a misting system..
Here it is;
http://shop.pollywog.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=112_113&products_id=213
but i was just wondering what people use as a timer for their misting systems?
I have found a few, but i believe i need a 'seconds timer'. Can't find one! I'm looking for something that can mist for 5 mins, 3 times a day....
Anyone have any ideas on where i can buy one online? Or where they got theirs, and what settting they have it on...?
Thanks |

Most "normal" digital timers can be programmed to come on for as little as a minute at a time, and have up to 20 on/off settings, so there will be no need to get a seconds timer. |

I had a look on there... looked good. How long do they take to ship to the UK?
Also, i noticed that the inlet to the pump should be located at the bottom of the reservoir. I was thinking of getting a system, and using a fish tank as the reservoir.. Would a small pump be capable of pulling the water to the top of the tank? (around 4 foot) ish....
As for the digital timers, im a bit worried of the battery running out on me, but the timer on mistking will only support American power! ('fudge!' yeah!) |

Shipping to the UK would take about 2 weeks but that's not a question I can answer best to ask Marty at mistking.
These pumps and misting head are used in huge frog collections and can actually run dry and still work
4' wont be a problem with a decent pump _________________ Paul

Ok, decided to go for the 1st option... and it has arrived..!
I decided against the mistking due to the delivery times, and i can't keep up with 3 mists a day, and work on top...
I have a quick question about the wiring setup of the pump...
I have to connect the thermal breaker to one of the terminals of the pump, and then the neutral to the thermal breaker. And then the live to the remaining terminal on the pump, but there seems to be no indication as to which terminal should take the thermal breaker, and which should take the live.
Does it even matter? I'm a bit of a lemon when it comes to electrics...
Changed a front room ceiling light once... blew the lot..!
I will hold off doing it until someone can point me in the right direction...
Thankyou! |

Best thing to do about that mate is email the guy who took your money and ask I've no idea about how the pw's pump is set up or what pump it is plus I'm no electrician and wouldn't be smart to give advise on something I have no idea about _________________ Paul

not to worry... i have been told that if it's the wrong way round, it will just make the pump work the wrong way round...
All wired up and ready to be installed... |
