I've been feeding my Golden gecko crickets for a while now and I was wondering if it would be alright if I could feed him meal worms. It wouldn't mess with his body at all. I want to feed him meal worms because I'll be able to raise my own meal worms. Thanks for posting. |

You should be able to use any feeder insects, including the various crickets, mealworms, king mealworms, waxworms,,small locusts or roaches. If you offer mealworms, put them in a shallow bowl so that they can not escape, and you can monitor how many are eaten. Put a couple of pinches of calcium carbonate or vitamin/mineral supplement in too.I would use these for variety, not as the main food item.
You can also offer fruit babyfood...
