i have just moved one off mine BACK to his smaller tub. started eating, put on a bit of weight, moved him up and he stopped after having 10 feeds. so he has been demoted along with 2 others. they will learn. _________________

About 1/2 of mine refused to eat last night, although several are blue, and the het pied male refused again for the 4th week, little begger!! I think some of the bigger ones are getting a bit cramped so I'm going to move them up to 18litre boxes, they don't have enough room to strike etc in the 9's now, and the het pied is getting his tub more permanently covered over as that seemed to settle him a bit, and hes got a posh exo terra hide now, so we'll try again next week, but I'm going to demote his food size down to a fuzzy and see if that kick starts him, and then gradually move him up to the weaners again
As for the rest, I don't know whether to put it down to the weather and time of year, or if they've had their grownth spurt and just aren't bothered at the moment, or if my luck has just run out and now I'm finding out all about royals and their feeding antics first hand Oh well, they'll sort themselves out again no doubt. _________________ www.draco2.co.uk

thanks folks.

I had the same problem, to me moving them up gave them a boost, I know they like small spaces but they seem to enjoy a roam around at night, a bigger box aids this.

Tis always good to have smaller boxes at the ready, royals are royals though and have a mind of their own I will keep an eye on my female and she starts any funny business she will be straight back into the 18ltr.
thanks

Rad, I can't speak for anyone else, but I have my youngsters in 9L, they are about to move up to 18l and they weigh around the 500g-600g mark, and I will probably not move them up to 50L until like Mike they reach around the 900g mark, but it's a case of judge by each snake I think as much as anything, as some still prefer to stay in smaller tubs apparently, royals being what they are _________________ www.draco2.co.uk

Mine are moving up to 18L RUB's this coming weekend, now all the rubs have arrived, apart from 6 that are not ready yet
Judging by the length of Mike's girl she's going to end up living in the bath tub You sure she's not a bumese Mike? Now that would be an achievement, breed to albino balls together and get a bino burm out of the eggs, you can just hear mrs bino saying 'honestly, your the only one I've been with' to mr bino _________________ www.draco2.co.uk
