He's lovely! Such a handsome little beast, worth all your hard work. |

looking good!
I doubt you will find him using the big leafed plants much, mine seem to hate the swiss cheese plant thanks it it being so slidey.. tend to stick to the orchids and sticks most of the time. (but they do explore everything even if they end up looking like loonys on a slide).
I am regretting not putting in a weeping fig myself, good call there! |

Thanks.
He has been on that plant a few times but like you said he cant grip on there very well and slides down the leaves, i might change it to another Ficus when I get a minute just so he has more places to climb and hide.
The only thing about him is that he isn't green very much in his viv, when the lights come on he goes a darker colour more like a pinkey greeny grey. Could this be the lights on him or is his trying to blend in with the background?
If i take him out he goes green or when his lights go off hes green.
I'm pretty sure he's happy, he's eating, drinking and pooing well. |

gorr dunno about that,
mine have been all kinds of colours.. one goes more brown that the other but both are usually a very bright pale green or pinky white when on the flowers..
I think dark is a sign of stress, but obviously it can also be a sign of camoflage eh..
Mine also do bright blue when they are about to eat something..
will try and teach mine to write messages on their skin with colour so we know what they want! |
