Personal opinion but you feed like hell while babies as this is quite natural as they get eaten if they don't and as all young have a larger hormone release they grow more proportionately. I would say feed well until about 500g. Then slow down and let the organs catch up with the gains and avoid an early death, FACT. Obese ANYTHING puts strain on the organs, end of. Then, a couple of months before breeding feed like hell again to put some essential body fat on as that's what she needs to carry her through the breeding season. This is more in line with the natural routine and a couple of studies report that slightly overweight females breed more readily. Weighing 900g in 5 months will without doubt but fat deposit within and around the organs, stressing them and ultimately shorten life. You can't cheat nature, only yourself.

I think 900g in 5 months is probably a bit much as well. Just out of curiousity, what length is she?

I have an albino here as well , 'bino's ( like spiders/combos ) seem to eat well but have to say at five months Im amazed at that weight...reason being is I have July 2006 albino ....who is 850 grams presently........ a full 12 months older but 50 grams less. Food for thought ( as it were Smile )

Nice looking snake.

Mine should take a leaf out if her book.
Seems a bit much imo. Good she is feeding though.
