royal morphs are priced at silly money levels, but the prices are coming down, look around at some of the classifieds, you'll see what i mean.
no i DO think £400 is a lot, though i paid £350 for my chondro, but then that is a reasonable price for that species generally, whereas even by dwarf boa species standards, £400 is high.,my comments should be regarded IN FULL however. _________________ we all have the spark of divinity within us, but are we responsible enough to use it? |

You are not comparing like with like at all.
You are comparing a normal Chondro at £350 with a fairly rare Boa CA mutation at £400 ! A "normal" Nicaraguan Boa costs, around £75 - £100.(thats the true comparison). To get a fair comparison, please tell me what you would pay for either a designer Chondro (like a high Lemon line) , you would not get much change from £1000 or more ! ... If there were Hypo Chondro's they would cost far more than that !
Secondly, which "dwarf" boas are comparing with that makes these guys expensive ? These are very WELL priced for what they are, what they can produce and the numbers you can find in captivity.
PS. Just to clarify, I like Chondros and got my first one in 1979 (from Karl Switak), so I'm not knocking Chondros, I'm just trying to show comparisons only work when you compare similar types, not normals vs mutations.
