I don't understand how the age/weight rules have been created??. My opinion on this subject is that when the snake is ready to breed and produce eggs it will go on and do so. e.g how can you be sure that when a female hits the 1500 gram mark she will suddenly become an active breeder? I've never understood the logic behind these rules/guidlines, is there any scientific proof to say that they have to be three years old to breed?? _________________ Deano |

[quote="Spiderman"] so hoping to potentially breed them this season with my male pewter who's a sex machine lol . /quote]
Sorry I missunderstood you, thought that you meant to breed this present winter But then as I said, it is YOUR decision 'cos they are your gorgeous snakes. Mabe because I am a woman I look at it this way, a human female could be a big lass and be able to 'breed' at 10 years of age However, that would not make it a good idea, and I feel the same about the snakes.
Really though that is my opinion and you know your own snakes. Whatever you decide I wish you all the very best, they are such lovely snakes. |
