Decided to take a few pics of my morph girls and weigh them. Was pleased with the results , my MJ Spider weighs over 1kg and my pied is weighing around 800g, my male pewter is breeding very well as well. There all feeding very well and are increasing in weight quickly so hoping to potentially breed them this season with my male pewter who's a sex machine lol .

Thanks Mike, there all 06's...the piebald was a bit fussy with food when i first got her but has now gone from being a bad feeder to a great feeder taking anything offered lol. Cheers MoNgKuKu, she's a really nice spider with great patterning and high white sides. _________________ Deano |

Thanks rad, paul, chris , paul I love spiders that have high white sides as well. Spiders are a great morph imo, can be combined with most if not all morphs to make cool combos _________________ Deano |

Sorry but going to throw a spanner in the works When there was a recent thread about the age to breed a female royal for the first time, the general concensus was that the third year was the soonest to try. If they are bred too early it can ruin them as breeders.
They are your snakes and your choice, just wanted to mention it. |

gorgeous snakes, but another spanner. breed too young and you risk shotening their lives. same with breeding when they are not heavy enough. am aiming for the girls to be around 2000gms, not the usual 1500. but looking gorgeous and lovely pics. _________________

If i'm not mistaken most people will breed their females in there 3rd year, which is also classed as their third winter. So for an 06, this winter coming will be their third winter, which is accepted among everyone.
some females will go in there second winter, which for an 06 would be right now. |
