are male royals easier to get a hold of and do they generaly have a docile temperment like females

depends what age of royal you want. older males will be easier to get hold of as breeders normally keep females.

agreed...females are like hens teeth at times to get lol....as for temperment there pretty much the same docility wise. Some Royals are certainly more head shy than others .

so i should get them from breeders insted of my local shop

one thing im a bit unsure about is different caresheets ive looked at say different lengths of malee
from 2ft uptom 6ft is the range that im seeing

Getting a male Royal straight from its breeder is the best idea. Any breeder of Royals is going to have some extra males at hatching time, so pm a breeder from the Forum. It is possible for a Royal to get to 6' BUT that would be a female and an unusually large one at that Shocked

Most males get to about 3.5 - 4'. If you are worried about temperament, remember to always move nice and gently when picking up a snake. If you grab at it, it will be startled and bite - stands to reason Wink
