There are plenty around over the 10ft mark carl for sale...I was just amazed how many have been offered on a few of the most popular classifieds lately...I am always on the look out for burm ads so guess I may notice the increase in available animals more than some.

As far as Reptile stores are concerned, I have seen an increase in Burm youngsters, but not seen any large Burms.
I have seen a lovely Albino Green Burm, absolutely stunning animal and a great pattern.
I have considered a Burm in the past, but I think I would have to spend time with a large Burm before committing. Imo, I feel it is easy to believe that one could get on with a large snake, only to find a problem with confidence around the snake when the animal has grown, and that goes for all large snakes.

I could only see about 25 adverts on our classifieds and only ONE for a snake over 10ft.
I do wonder where all the big burmese end up. I remember recusing a monster burm from a lady who's son had gone to uni and just told her to give it water every few weeks. This snake must easily of been pushing 18ft. We took it away without any probs and rehomed it at a shop with a large walk in cage 12ft x8ft (not a well made cage as when the snakes would crap it would drip through the ceiling below )
